Celebration of Lutheran Songwriters - Lutheran Songs Today
 
Lutheran Songs Today brought 10 Lutheran contemporary songwriters together in February 2011, including trailblazing superstars of Lutheran songwriting, John Ylvisaker and Jay Beech, to celebrate the gift of our songwriters to the wider church. 
 
We were sponsored by the Center for Missional Leadership at Luther Seminary, Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA.
 

The Lutheran magazine says,

 

     "When Martin Luther was frustrated that there wasn't music in the language of the people and the Reformation, he wrote hymns for worship.  The same has happened today: Let your worship leaders know about Lutheran Songs Today. . . and you'll discover a wealth of wonderful songs for more than just youth gatherings."
